RAT09 was this past weekend. Here's another try at a long exposure that I last posted after RAT07. This didn't come out as well considering someone (Chris) knocked my camera over half way through a 20 minute exposure.

Trains in the Street

Olive street in Anaheim has a train running down the middle of it. I've seen the tracks numerous times when I've been out on site but thought it was abandoned. I guess not. Something you don't see everyday.

This weeks challenge is "Dangerous". We were trying to come up with a theme for a while so if anyone else has one please let us know. The photo was taken at lunch today when I went on a walk down to the beach. Of course the "killer storm" this weekend turned out to produce little to no rain wherever I was. It rained a grand total of one hour during the daylight hours.

Grace , phoDak and Heather (aka the girlfriend) are in this too.

This week's challenge turned into "in the kitchen" thanks to my last post. This is a meal of organic brown rice (get it at Trader Joes if you can find it.), homemade chili i made for the Super Bowl (4 habaneros, 6 jalapenos, Montana elk sausage, Wiebe raised grass fed beef, spices, etc, etc.) and topped with extra sharp Wisconsin cheddar. Very easy meal and just add Tapatio to make it perfect.

Grace and phoDak are starting as well.

I've been motivated to take a lot of food photos as of late. This was Saturday's lunch. A homemade organic turkey pepperoni, mozzarella, asiago, jalapeno, caramelized onion, organic yellow bell pepper, bacon and pepper flake pizza.

Up the walk. Planted a row of heirloom tomatoes on Saturday afternoon. This is in my guerrilla gardening mode seeing as how I don't have any real open space to plant in. I took this approximately 1'-6" wide by 7'-0" swatch of planter in front of my window over last summer when the gardeners cut away the turf to install a sprinkler. They didn't immediately plant it so I did. I had a small crop of tomatoes, bell pepper and jalapenos last year and wanted to go all in on heirloom tomatoes this year. Wish me luck.
